ABOUT ME
I am a Charleston, SC - based Theatre Director, Actor and Producer. I am the Founding Artistic Director for What If? Productions and serve as the Artistic Director for Footlight Players theatre company in residence at the Queen Street Playhouse.
Over the past 25 years I have worked throughout the country in a variety of theatres including Playhouse on the Square in Memphis, TN where I was a member of the theatre’s Resident Acting Company as well as Ansley Park Playhouse, Emerald Isle Rep., Onstage Atlanta, Phoenix Theatre Circle, Theatre Memphis and Charleston Stage Company. Through my work as a director and producer with What If? Productions I developed a partnership with Chicago’s The New Colony (now known as The New Coordinates) producing regional premieres of several of their new works including Five Lesbians Eating A Quiche, Hearts Full of Blood and Kate and Sam Are Not Breaking Up. I also co-founded the WIP Playwrights Festival which provided world premiere productions of several plays including The Practice Child and The Cannibals.
Over the past decade I have directed and produced over 50 productions including large scale musicals, comedies, imitate dramas as well as a variety of cabaret and piano bar acts and world premiere new works of theatre.
